Is Concierge Care Licensed, Bonded and Insured?
All Concierge Care offices are licensed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), insured and bonded. Additionally, all caregivers hold their own liability insurance and some carry their own Workers Compensation.
How are the caregivers referred by Concierge Care selected for each of their clients?
The Concierge Care process begins with understanding the unique care needs of each of our clients. This is accomplished by having a specially trained Senior Care Advisor assist you with identifying your potential care needs. We then work to identify one or more caregivers who can best meet your needs. You then have the opportunity to meet and approve of the caregivers in advance of care services starting. We strive to maintain the fewest caregivers as possible to maintain continuity of care and will follow up to ensure you are completely satisfied with the services you receive.
How are the caregivers referred by Concierge Care screened prior to becoming eligible to provide services?
Concierge Care strives to ensure that we only refer you the very best caregivers. To accomplish this, each and every caregiver has undergone a stringent 5-step process prior to registering with us. This process includes two behavioral interviews, a complete federal and state criminal background check (including fingerprinting), at least two past client or employment references, and verification of their educational training and current in-services.
Is there a minimum number of hours of services required?
Concierge Care services are available from 6 to 24 hours a day, 365 days a year so whether you need around the clock care or a bath visit three times weekly we will be able to assist you.
Does Concierge Care charge a deposit for services?
Unlike many private duty agencies, Concierge Care does not require a deposit for beginning services.
Does Concierge Care answer their phones 24/7 with a live staff member?
Yes, to provide you with the very best customer service, Concierge Care rotates the phones after normal office hours every day with their office staff. This ensures that not only do you speak to a live person, but that person is familiar with your situation and the caregivers providing care.
How do people pay for private duty services?
This varies from situation to situation. According to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) when compared to other alternatives of care, private duty home care can be significantly less expensive and more desirable for most people. There are many different ways people pay for their home care costs. Some services may be covered by long term care policies or with Veterans Benefits. Many of the services are paid for directly by the person receiving care. Concierge Care’s Senior Care Advisor can help you to ensure you have taken advantage of all possible payment sources.
Why would somebody use private duty home care?
Private duty home care enables a person to live as independently as possible in the comfort of their own home. It allows them to stay in their familiar environment, sleep in their own bed, and eat the same familiar foods they are used to. It also enables them to stay close to loved ones including family members, friends, and beloved pets. Private duty home care brings peace of mind to knowing they have someone there when needed.
Can I change or discontinue the home care services my loved one receives?
We understand that client needs may change quickly and are dedicated to remaining as flexible as possible to ensure your needs are met. You are not bound by a long term contractual relationship and are more than welcome to make changes to your services at any time. This includes changes to the types of services provided, number of hours provided and/or termination of services.
